Shixing County is located in the northern part of Guangdong Province, southeast of Shaoguan City, at the junction of Guangdong and Gan, and is the "Hometown of Hot Spring in China", "Hometown of Wai Lau in China", and an important ecological barrier in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay Area.
