Shishou, Jingzhou City, Hubei Province, the county-level city, is located in Hubei and Hunan provinces, the junction of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, Jingjiang River section of the south bank, due to the "stone is isolated in the south of the Yangtze River," Shishou Mountain (today's Xiulin Mountain) named.
