Shiping County is located in the south of Yunnan Province, the northern part of Honghe Prefecture, known as "the hometown of song and dance", "the hometown of prunes", "the famous state of literature" reputation. Located in the eastern part of Jilin Province, China, Tumen is a county-level city under the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, and is separated from Nanyang County, North Hamgyeong Province, North Korea, by the Tumen River. As an important port city on the border between China and North Korea, Tumen has a state-level border economic cooperation zone and is a key node for economic and trade exchanges between China and the Far East of North Korea and Russia.
