Shimen County is located in the northwestern part of China's Hunan Province, belonging to Changde City, and is situated in the transition zone from the Wuling Mountains to the Dongting Lake Plain. The county is dominated by mountains and hills, with a humid subtropical monsoon climate and four distinct seasons. Shimen is famous as "the hometown of Chinese citrus" and "the capital of tea oil", and is rich in agricultural specialties, with Shimen Yinfeng tea and citrus enjoying a good reputation nationwide.
In terms of history and culture, Shimen has a profound Chu culture, and is one of the places where the Tujia people live, with unique folk customs. Attractions include the Pot Bottle Mountain National Nature Reserve, Jieshan Temple (the ancestral home of Zen Buddhism), and Longwang Cave, where natural and humanistic landscapes mingle. The economy is based on agriculture, tourism and mining industry, and the transportation is convenient, with the Jiao Liu Railway and several highways running through the whole territory.
Malling is a town in the municipality of Aarhus in the Danish region of Central Jutland, located about 20 kilometers south of the city of Aarhus. As an important part of the Aarhus metropolitan area, Malling is known for its natural beauty and convenient location.
