Shifang City is a county-level city located in Deyang City, Sichuan Province, China. It is situated in the northwestern part of the Chengdu Plain, about 60 kilometers away from Chengdu City, and is an important part of the Chengdu Economic Zone. As one of the birthplaces of the ancient Shu civilization, Shifang City has a history of more than 2,200 years, and was named after the establishment of "Shifang County" during the Qin Dynasty, and is known as the "Pearl of Western Sichuan".
Shifang City is a national ecological demonstration area with over 50% forest coverage, including Mount Yinghuashan and Qingniutuo. Mt. Yinghuashan is famous for its dangerous peaks, sea of clouds and azalea sea, and is known as "the first mountain in western Sichuan". There are also historical relics in the area such as the Warring States boat coffin burial group and Luohan Temple, combining natural landscape and humanistic heritage.
Shifang's economy is industry-oriented, with food processing (Shifang Sun Tobacco is a Geographical Indication Product of China), building materials, chemical industry and other industrial clusters, and it is a strong city in Sichuan's county economy. In recent years, Shifang has been actively developing its tourism and recreation industry, relying on its hot springs resources and ecological advantages to create a recreational vacation destination. The transportation is convenient, with Chenglan Railway and Jingkun Expressway running through the whole city.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
