Shengsi County, part of Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province, China, is located in the easternmost part of Zhoushan Archipelago and is the only state-level island scenic spot in China. It consists of 404 large and small islands with a land area of only 86 square kilometers, yet it has rich marine resources and unique island landscapes. Shengsi is famous for its fishing industry and is one of the important marine fishery bases in China, producing all kinds of seafood, such as scallop, yellowtail, shrimp and crab.

Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
