Shengsi County, part of Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province, China, is located in the easternmost part of Zhoushan Archipelago and is the only state-level island scenic spot in China. It consists of 404 large and small islands with a land area of only 86 square kilometers, yet it has rich marine resources and unique island landscapes.
