Shayang County, located in the central part of Hubei Province in China, is an important county-level administrative region under the jurisdiction of Jingmen City, located at the intersection of the middle reaches of the Han River and the Jianghan Plain. As a port city along the Han River, the largest tributary of the Yangtze River, Shayang has been a hub of land and water transportation since ancient times, and is known as the "Little Hankou".
The region is famous for its agriculture, which is an important commercial grain, high-quality oil and freshwater aquaculture base in China, and its specialty "Shayang rapeseed flowers" form a spectacular 10,000 acres of golden flowers in the spring.
