Shapingba District is located in the western part of the main city of Chongqing, China, and is one of the nine districts of the main city of Chongqing, covering an area of 396 square kilometers. As a major town of science, education and culture in Chongqing, Shapingba is known as the "Smart City of Chongqing" as it is home to 26 colleges and universities, including Chongqing University and Southwest University of Political Science and Law, as well as nearly 40% of the city's scientific research institutes.
Shapingba is steeped in history and culture, and the ancient town of Maguikou is Chongqing's most representative showcase of Bayu style, attracting more than ten million tourists every year. Red attractions such as the Red Rock Revolutionary Memorial Hall and the White House record the heroic epics of the war period. Three Gorges Plaza, the largest commercial pedestrian street in the west, is a concentrated manifestation of modern urban vitality.
The district relies on the construction of the core area of the Western (Chongqing) Science City, focusing on high-tech industries such as integrated circuits and artificial intelligence. With a multi-dimensional transportation network including Chongqing West Station of the Chengdu-Chongqing High Speed Rail, Rail Line 1/Loop Line/ Line 9, and 30 minutes to Jiangbei International Airport, it is an important hub node of the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle.
Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
