Shanglin County in Guangxi belongs to Nanning City, located in the south-central part of Guangxi, in the hinterland of Daming Mountain, which is a Zhuang settlement area, known as the "Hometown of Longevity in China" and "Famous County of Tourism with Guangxi Characteristics".
