Shah Alam, the capital of the Malaysian state of Selangor, is located on the west coast of the Malay Peninsula, just 25 kilometers from the capital city of Kuala Lumpur, and is part of the Greater Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan Area. As the administrative center of the state, it is home to the Selangor State Government Building and the State Legislative Assembly, the political and administrative core of the state. Known for its modern and well-planned urban layout with a mix of residential, commercial and industrial areas, Shah Alam is well connected to Kuala Lumpur and neighboring cities via the Light Rail Transit (LRT) and expressways. The city's landmarks include the magnificent Blue Mosque (Sultan Shahruddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque) and the Shah Alam Lake Gardens, which attracts tourists and residents alike with its combination of religious and cultural ambience and recreational features. As an important industrial and educational hub in Malaysia, Shah Alam is one of the most vibrant cities in Selangor, not only economically active, but also a great place to live and visit.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
