Zhuo Lu County is located in the southeast of Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, at the intersection of Yanshan Mountain and Taihang Mountain, which is one of the important birthplaces of Chinese civilization. It has a civilization history of more than 5,000 years. It is said that the Yellow Emperor and the Yan Emperor met here in the "Battle of Hanquan", and the "Battle of Zhuo Deer" laid down the foundation of Huaxia, so it is said that "civilization of a thousand years ago started in Zhuo Deer". There are historical and cultural sites such as the Yellow Emperor City and the altar of China's harmony, which are important places for Chinese people at home and abroad to find their roots and offer sacrifices to their ancestors.
Zhuo Lu belongs to temperate continental monsoon climate, and Sanggan River passes through the county, nourishing this fertile land.
