Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
Zhao County is located in the south-central part of Hebei Province, belonging to Shijiazhuang City, located in the hinterland of the North China Plain, with a long history and deep cultural heritage. Anciently known as Zhaozhou, since the Qin Dynasty will be set up counties, is the "Seven Heroes of the Warring States," the core area of the State of Zhao, within the territory of numerous cultural relics and monuments, especially Zhaozhou Bridge (Anji Bridge) is the most famous. This stone arch bridge, built in the Sui Dynasty during the Daye period and designed by the master craftsman Li Chun, is the world's oldest, longest-spanning and best-preserved single-hole, open-shouldered stone arch bridge, and is known as "the first bridge under heaven", demonstrating the outstanding wisdom of ancient Chinese bridge construction. In addition, Zhao County also has a national cultural heritage units such as the Draconic Scripture Building (China's oldest surviving stone scripture building), Yongtong Bridge, etc. Every year when the pear blossom season, the pear area sea of flowers such as snow, attracting tourists from all directions, known as "China's Snow Pear Township," the reputation of the millennium-old county of history, culture, ecology in one.
