Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County is located in the southeast of Chongqing, the hinterland of Wuling Mountain Area, is the largest district and county in Chongqing, known as the "Gateway to Southeast Chongqing". It is famous for Tao Yuanming's "Peach Blossom Garden" prototype "Peach Blossom Garden in Youzhou", which is a collection of karst wonders, soil and Miao style and red culture in one. Within the Peach Blossom Garden scenic area, Taikoo Cave cave group is fantastically deep, and the village of Peach Blossom Garden is a replica of the idyllic atmosphere of "traffic in the road, dogs and chickens"; the thousand-year-old town of Gongtan, the Wujiang River Hundred Mile Gallery gallery winds through the Bayu tradition of foot-hanging towers built on the mountain, showing the unique charm of "Gongtan paintings, Longhe lanterns The unique charm of "Gongtan Painting, Longhe Lantern". As a Tujia and Miao settlement, Youyang retains national non-legacy such as Pendulum Dance and Maugus Dance, and the folk culture such as Silankappu Brocade and Tujia Mountain Songs has been passed on vividly, making it an ideal place to experience the diversified humanities and natural ecology of the Wuling Mountain Region.
