Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
Located in the northwest of Chongqing, Tongnan District is at the core node of the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle, and is an important hub connecting the main city of Chongqing and Chengdu. It has been known as the "Gateway to North Sichuan" since ancient times, and the Fuling River passes through the district, nourishing its reputation as the "Hometown of Canola in China" and "Green Vegetable Capital in Western China". --Every spring, the sea of rapeseed flowers in Tongnan stretches for dozens of kilometers, attracting millions of tourists and becoming a benchmark of national agricultural cultural tourism. Tongnan has a national key cultural relics protection unit, Tongnan Big Buddha Temple, with cliff stone carvings and statues that have survived thousands of years of vicissitudes of life, and Chen Tuan's hometown, Shuangjiang Ancient Town, and other historical relics, which tell the weight of the culture of Ba Shu. In recent years, Tongnan, relying on the location advantage of "the heart of Chengdu-Chongqing", has been vigorously developing modern agriculture, green industry and cultural and tourism industries, making it a modern new city suitable for living, working and traveling, as well as an ideal destination for experiencing Bayu's style and idyllic scenery.
