Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
Fuji County is a county under the jurisdiction of Wuzhou City in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China, located in the eastern part of Guangxi and the middle reaches of the Xijiang River, with a total area of about 3,945 square kilometers. The county is predominantly Han Chinese, and also inhabited by Zhuang, Yao and other ethnic minorities, with a population of about one million. Fuji County has a long history, having been founded in the Sui Dynasty, and is one of the important birthplaces of Lingnan culture.
The terrain of Fuji County is mainly hilly and mountainous, and the climate is subtropical monsoon, which is suitable for agricultural development. The economy is dominated by agriculture, producing fruits such as lychee, longan and sugar orange, and supplemented by forestry and mineral resources (such as ilmenite). In recent years, the industrial and service sectors have gradually developed and become new growth points for the regional economy.
Fuji County has a rich cultural heritage, such as ancient buildings from the Ming Dynasty, traditional Cantonese opera and lion dance culture. Natural landscapes, including the Xijiang River Scenery and the Shiwu Mountain Scenic Area, attract visitors to explore the beauty of its landscape. Fuji County is also an important location in China's modern revolutionary history and is rich in red tourism resources.
