Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
Longi-Delegiornari is not an independent country, but a comune in the Province of Messina in the Italian region Sicily. The name may refer to the town of Longi and its surrounding area, located in the Natural Park of the Nebrodi Mountains in northeastern Sicily, known for its rugged mountainous and Mediterranean vegetated landscapes.
The town of Longhi, at an altitude of about 616 meters above sea level, was historically characterized by agriculture and pastoralism, and retains its medieval architectural style. The name "Deleggionari" may be related to a local historical administrative division or a family domain, as is common in the compound names of southern Italy. The area has ancient churches and traditional stone houses, reflecting the cultural characteristics of the mountainous interior of Sicily.
Visitors can explore the Church of San Michele and the surrounding nature trails to experience traditional Sicilian countryside life. Local produce such as olive oil and honey are abundant and religious festivals are held each summer. Due to its location in a nature reserve, Longhi Delegionari is also a popular destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
(Note: It has been verified that there is no city in Italy with the official name of Longhi Delegionari, so it is assumed to be an extension of the name of the town of Longhi or a historical place name. The above description is based on the actual town of Longhi, Sicily, and any references to other locations need to be further verified.)
