Punda, Curaçao: The Pearl of Caribbean History

Punda, the old town of Willemstad, the capital of Curaçao, is one of the most Dutch colonial neighborhoods in the Caribbean, where history and color abound. Since the establishment of the Dutch settlement in 1634, Punta has been the economic and cultural center of Curaçao, with its iconic colorful buildings built along the harbor, and houses in shades of red, yellow, and blue reflected in the blue sea, forming a unique visual scroll.
