Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
Nanle County is located in the northeastern part of Henan Province, China, belonging to Puyang City, at the junction of Henan, Luzhou and Hebei provinces, with a total area of 624 square kilometers. As one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization, Nanle has a long history and is the hometown of Cangjie, the Saint of Words, and the Cangjie Mausoleum, known as the "First Mausoleum of China", is located here. The county has agriculture as its leading industry, with specialties such as apples and peanuts, and is also actively developing modern manufacturing and cultural and tourism industries.
Nanle County has a rich cultural heritage, in addition to the Cangjie Mausoleum, there are historical sites such as Tanghuai and Wenmiao. The traditional opera Dapingtong is listed in the national intangible cultural heritage. The Cangjie Temple Fair held every year in the first month of the lunar calendar attracts tens of thousands of tourists and shows local folk culture. The county's infrastructure is perfect, and the G45 Daguang Expressway passes through the territory with convenient transportation, making it an important destination for experiencing the culture of the Central Plains.
Nanle County has formed an industrial system mainly based on food processing and equipment manufacturing, and has built a provincial-level industrial clustering zone. 2023 GDP exceeded 20 billion yuan, and it was awarded the title of National Advanced County in Grain Production. The local community continues to optimize the business environment, focusing on the development of bio-based materials and other emerging industries, and is building an important logistics node city in the junction area of Henan, Lu and Hebei.
