Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
Nan'an is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Quanzhou City in Fujian Province, located in the core area of the Golden Triangle of Southern Fujian and bordered by the Taiwan Strait to the east, Nan'an is a coastal city with a long history and an active economy. As one of the important starting points of the ancient "Maritime Silk Road", Nan'an has a rich cultural heritage, such as the Jiu Ri Shan Praying Wind Rock Carving and Zheng Chenggong's Mausoleum.
Nan'an's economy is dominated by stone ceramics, plumbing, kitchen and sanitary ware, machinery and equipment industries, and is known as the "Hometown of Chinese Stone" and "Hometown of Chinese Plumbing", with active foreign trade and exports. At the same time, the city's remarkable characteristics of overseas Chinese, overseas compatriots rich resources, the local economic development and cultural exchanges play an important role in promoting.
The city is surrounded by mountains and the sea, has a mild climate and convenient transportation, and is closely connected to major cities such as Xiamen and Fuzhou through the Shenhai Expressway and the Fuxia High Speed Railway, combining cultural charm and modern industrial vitality.
