Jiangxian County is located in the south of Shanxi Province, northeast of Yuncheng City, at the west foot of Zhongtiao Mountain and upstream of Hwoe River, and is a famous cultural county with a long history in south Jin. During the Western Zhou Dynasty, it was the seat of the capital city of the State of Jin, "the old Jiang", and was called "the ancient capital of the State of Jin", with a history dating back to 3,000 years ago. There are abundant cultural relics and monuments in the city, such as the national cultural relics protection unit "Jin Cemetery in Jiangxian County", which witnessed the glory of the state of Jin during the Spring and Autumn Period. Natural scenery and humanistic landscapes are intertwined, with the Ziyun Temple Scenic Area surrounded by mountains and lush forests, and the Boiling Spring Wetland with constant temperature all year round, which is an ideal habitat for migratory birds to overwinter. Jiangxian County is also "the hometown of Chinese hawthorn", and its specialty "Jiangxian Hawthorn" has big and sweet fruits, which is certified by National Geographical Indication. The local non-legacy culture is unique, and traditional skills such as Jiangxian drum music and paper-cutting have been passed down from generation to generation, showing the profound folklore heritage. This small city, which combines the sense of history and natural beauty, is attracting visitors from all over the world with its unique Jinnan charm.
