It is located in the temperate continental climate zone of the northern border, with long cold winters and short cool summers, and annual precipitation of about 200 millimeters.

Nature and Resources

Habahe County is famous for its natural landscape, with ecotourism resources such as Baisha Lake (a national 5A scenic spot), Harongou Petroglyphs and Naren Grassland. It is rich in mineral resources, with reserves of zinc, lead and copper ranking among the top in Xinjiang.
