Located on the island of Anjouan in the Indian Ocean island nation of Comoros, Seleia (Mutsamudu) is the country's second-largest city and a major port. The city is known for its distinctive Arab-French colonial architecture, with winding streets and colorful houses evoking a rich island atmosphere. As the economic center of Anjouan, Seleia is based on the spice trade, vanilla cultivation and small-scale fishing, and is surrounded by coconut groves and rice paddies that showcase the vibrancy of tropical agriculture. The city enjoys a pleasant climate with an average annual temperature of around 24°C. Although there are no major tourist attractions, the local markets with their handicrafts, fresh seafood and friendly people make it a peaceful place to experience traditional Comorian life. With a population of around 24,000, the city is a multicultural mix of traditional Islamic practices and colonial history.
Located in the northwest of Sanming City, Fujian Province, at the southeast foot of Wuyi Mountain Range and the middle and lower reaches of Jinxi River, Jiangle County is known as the "Ancient County of Fujian and Yue, Green Jiangle". It was founded in the third year of Yong'an of the Three Kingdoms, Wu (260), and is one of the earliest six ancient counties in Fujian Province. It is rich in historical relics, with such monuments as Yang Shi's hometown in the Song Dynasty and Zhengjue Temple in the Tang Dynasty witnessing a thousand years of cultural lineage. Natural scenery to Yuhua Cave as the core of the national key scenic spots, karst cave wonders "a fan of wind, nine carp lake" and other attractions are famous; Tianji Mountain National Forest Park forest coverage of more than 90%, is a natural oxygen bar. As an important settlement of the Hakka folk system, the tea-making skills of Jiangle and the southern words and music are listed as national non-legacy, and the Hakka culture is profound. Relying on the Jinxi Ecological Corridor and Yuhua Cave Tourism Circle, Jiangle is building a tourism destination in central Fujian that integrates cultural experience and ecological recuperation.
