Segai is an important island in the Western Province of the Solomon Islands, located in the southwest Pacific Ocean, northwest of Guadalcanal. Covering an area of approximately 100 square kilometers, the island is characterized by volcanic terrain and dense tropical rainforests, surrounded by coral reefs and crystal clear waters.
The island of Segay is inhabited by indigenous Melanesians, preserving a unique tribal culture and traditional practices. The local people are known for their wood carving skills, especially in making war canoes and ceremonial wooden drums.
