Sarh is the capital of the Moyen-Chari Province of the Republic of Chad, located in the south of the country. It is the second largest city in Chad and an important economic and transportation center. Located near the Logone River, the city enjoys a relatively mild savannah climate with abundant annual rainfall. Saarland was once the administrative center of the French colonial period and still retains its colonial architecture.
