Situated in the eastern part of Guizhou Province, China, San Sui County is part of Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, and is a county-level administrative region characterized by agriculture and ethnic culture. The name "San Sui" originates from the local rice culture, which symbolizes a good harvest and good fortune. San Sui has a mild subtropical monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature of about 15°C, which is suitable for rice, rape and other crops.
Sansui has a rich ethnic culture, especially Miao and Dong traditions such as embroidery, silver jewelry making and festival celebrations.
