Located in the northwest of Foshan City, Guangdong Province, China, Sanshui District is an important part of the Pearl River Delta, known for its rich water resources and ecological landscape. With a total area of 874 square kilometers and a population of about 800,000, the district's economy is dominated by manufacturing, agriculture and tourism, and is home to well-known brands such as Jianlibao. Sanshui has a significant geographic advantage of being close to Guangzhou, with convenient transportation, the Guangzhou-Foshan-Zhaoxing Expressway and several railroads running through it.
Ecologically, Sanshui boasts several wetland parks and forest parks, such as the Yundonghai National Wetland Park, a popular destination for bird-watching and recreation. Culturally, Sanshui has preserved many traditional Lingnan buildings and customs, such as the Dragon Boat Festival and the Lotus Festival, reflecting unique local characteristics. In recent years, Sanshui has been actively developing green industries and technological innovation, becoming one of the demonstration zones for sustainable development in the Pearl River Delta region.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
