Sanshan, fully known as Sanshan District in Wuhu City, Anhui Province, is located in the southeast of Anhui Province, on the south bank of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, and is one of the municipal districts of Wuhu City, which is named after the three hills within its territory, namely Sanshan, Changshan, and Mashan. With a total area of about 276 square kilometers, the golden waterway of the Yangtze River passes through the area, with natural port resources and convenient water and land transportation. As an important carrying place of Wuhu City's "cross-river development" strategy, Sanshan has been focusing on the synergistic development of advanced manufacturing, modern agriculture and modern service industry in recent years, and has formed an industrial system dominated by high-end equipment manufacturing and green food processing. At the same time, the ecological beauty of this place, with "Ten Mile River Bay" and other natural landscapes, a blend of the spirit of the south of the water town and the vitality of the modern city, it is a new city of the riverfront, livable and workable, and an important part of the demonstration zone of industrial transfer in the Wanjiang City Belt.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
