Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country. Located in the southwestern part of Xinjiang and the central part of Kashgar, Yupu Lake County is a typical oasis agricultural county, situated at the western edge of the Tarim Basin and the edge of the Taklamakan Desert. Here, the Dawakun Desert lakes reflect each other, golden sand dunes and blue water and blue sky constitute a unique landscape, known as the "Pearl of the Desert". The area is rich in agricultural products such as cotton, jujubes and Gashi melons, and has a rich ethnic culture with a strong Uyghur flavor. Relying on the ecological resources of the desert and the culture of the Silk Road, Yepu Lake is developing eco-tourism and has become a special destination for experiencing the desert flavor and western culture.
