Located in the northern part of Pingtung County, Taiwan Province of China, Yanpu Township is a typical agricultural township, famous for fruit cultivation, such as lotus fog and honey dates. The township is adjacent to Shandimen Township in the east and Ligang Township in the west, with a total area of about 64.3 square kilometers and a population of about 28,000 people. The name of Yanpu Township originates from the history of Yanpu Chaizhuang, which was established by settlers during the Qing Dynasty, and now includes the villages of Xinwei, Pengcuo, and Yonglong.
