Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country. Shangzhou is located in the southeastern part of Shaanxi Province in China, and is the administrative center of Shangluo City, which is situated at the southern foot of the eastern part of the Qinling Mountains and the upper reaches of the Dan River. As a cultural city with a long history, Shangzhou is famous for the "Four Hao of Shangshan" who lived in seclusion, and has been a major transportation route connecting Guanzhong with the central and southern regions since ancient times. With an area of about 2,672 square kilometers and a population of about 550,000, Shangzhou enjoys a warm-temperate semi-humid climate with four distinct seasons.
Shangzhou boasts a wealth of natural and cultural landscapes, including attractions such as Xian'e Lake and Dayun Temple, and is rich in agricultural specialties such as walnuts and chestnuts. It is the hometown of Jia Pingwa and other cultural celebrities, and integrates the characteristics of Qin and Chu cultures, presenting a city style that emphasizes both modern development and historical inheritance.
