Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country. Historically, Samu was an important stronghold during Timor-Leste's War of Independence, and remnants of the resistance movement still remain in the area, attracting history buffs to explore. Saga is located in the western part of Rikaze City in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China, and is one of the important border counties of Tibet, situated in the northern foothills of the Himalayan Mountains, with an average elevation of about 4,600 meters above sea level. The area is dominated by highland terrain with a cold and dry climate, and boasts magnificent natural landscapes such as the upper reaches of the Yarlung Tsangpo River and numerous snow-capped mountains. Saga is an important area for Tibetan culture, and its inhabitants are predominantly Tibetan, retaining a traditional nomadic life and Tibetan Buddhist practices. The economy is based on animal husbandry and agriculture, and in recent years tourism has gradually developed, attracting tourists to explore its pristine scenery and unique culture. Saga is also of strategic importance as one of the border trade points between China and Nepal.
