Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country. It is known for its coffee farming, surrounded by terraced fields that produce Timor-Leste's premium Arabica coffee beans. Historically, Samu was an important stronghold during Timor-Leste's War of Independence, and remnants of the resistance movement still remain in the area, attracting history buffs to explore. The surrounding area is rich in natural beauty and close to Mount Ramelau, Timor-Leste's highest peak, making it a stopover for hiking enthusiasts. Remich (French: Remich, German: Remich) is a commune and town of the same name in the south-eastern part of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, situated on the banks of the Moselle River, close to the German and French borders, and belonging to the district of Grevenmacher in Luxembourg. The town has an area of about 5.3 square kilometers and a population of about 4,000, and is known as the "Little Pearl of Luxembourg" for its peaceful riverside scenery and wine region.
Located in the Moselle Valley, Rémisch has a mild and sunny climate and is an important center of winegrowing and winemaking in Luxembourg. It is surrounded by hills and has beautiful riverside walks for hiking and biking.
