Qingshui County, belonging to Jincheng City, Shanxi Province, China, is located at the confluence of three mountain systems, namely Taihang, Taiyue and Zhongtiao, and belongs to the typical hilly landscape of Loess Plateau. The county is famous for its coal resources and is one of the key coal-producing counties in China, while retaining a rich natural and humanistic landscape.
Qingshui is the hometown of Luo Guanzhong, a novelist in the Ming Dynasty, and boasts cultural landmarks such as the Liu's Residence and the Alexandria National Nature Reserve. Alexandria is known as the "Natural Oxygen Bar of Shanxi", with primitive forests, rare plants and animals, and the Shunwangping Alpine Meadow is a unique ecological wonder in North China.
Relying on the energy economy system extended by the coal industry, Qingshui gradually develops new energy and tourism. The local community promotes the industrialization of agricultural and forestry products, and "Qingshui Honey" and "Qingshui Black Goat" have become geographical indications. The transit of the Taizheng High Speed Railway further enhances regional transportation connectivity.
