Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country. Historically, Samu was an important stronghold during Timor-Leste's War of Independence, and remnants of the resistance movement still remain in the area, attracting history buffs to explore. Pingli County is located in the southeastern part of Shaanxi Province in China, belonging to Ankang City, and is situated at the junction of Shaanxi, Hubei and Chongqing provinces and cities, and belongs to the hinterland of Qinba Mountain area. The county has a total area of 2,647 square kilometers and a population of about 200,000 people. Pingli is known as the "hometown of Nuwa" and "hometown of China's famous tea". It has an excellent ecological environment, with a forest coverage of over 70%, and is rich in natural and cultural tourism resources.
The economy is mainly based on agriculture, with specialties such as tea and Chinese herbs, of which "Pingli Nuwa Tea" is a national geographical indication product. Industry is characterized by green industry and processing of agricultural products. Transportation relies on the G346 National Highway and Anping Expressway, connecting to major cities in the vicinity. Pingli's representative attractions include Tianshu Gorge, Nuwa Mountain, and Longtou Village, which are important destinations for eco-tourism in southern Shaanxi Province because of their combination of natural landscapes and folk cultures.
