Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country. Historically, Samu was an important stronghold during Timor-Leste's War of Independence, and remnants of the resistance movement still remain in the area, attracting history buffs to explore. Located in the Western Province of Zambia, Mulongwezi is a small town close to the Namibian border, near the Caprivi Strip on the Zambian-Namibian border. Dominated by a vast savannah landscape, the local population is mainly engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry, growing crops such as maize and millet, raising cattle and sheep, and living a relatively slow pace of life. As a small regional trading center, Mulobezi has a simple market where residents of the surrounding villages come to trade agricultural products and household goods. The natural environment around the town is pristine, with occasional wildlife, epitomizing the rural life of western Zambia. Although small in size, the town retains the simple cultural atmosphere and natural features of the region.
