Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country. Located in the southwestern part of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Gansu Province, China, Luqu County is situated on the eastern edge of the Tibetan Plateau, with an average altitude of about 3,500 meters.
