Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country. Gaghdach is the seat of the Daxinganling district administration of China's Heilongjiang province, located in the southeastern foothills of the Daxinganling mountain range, administratively subordinate to Heilongjiang province, but geographically bordering the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Gaghdach is the political, economic and cultural center of the Daxinganling region. As a cold-temperate continental monsoon climate zone, it has long cold winters and short cool summers, with rich forest resources and unique forest and snowfield landscapes. Gagdachi is famous for the "township of camphor pine", surrounded by virgin forests, wetland ecology and Oroqen and other ethnic minority cultures, is an ideal place for eco-tourism and summer vacation, but also connects the Northeast and Inner Mongolia, an important transportation node, known as the "Pearl of the North".
