Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country. Located in the southeastern part of Henan Province, China, Guangshan County is part of Xinyang City and is situated in the old revolutionary area of Dabie Mountain, a county-level administrative region characterized by agriculture and history and culture. With a total area of 1,835 square kilometers and a population of about 860,000, the county has a mild climate and rich natural resources.
Gwangshan has a long history and is the hometown of Sima Guang, famous for its "wisdom culture". There are many ancient monuments and red revolutionary sites, such as Deng Yingchao's ancestral home and the former site of Wang Dawan Conference.
