Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country. It is known for its coffee farming, surrounded by terraced fields that produce Timor-Leste's premium Arabica coffee beans. Historically, Samu was an important stronghold during Timor-Leste's War of Independence, and remnants of the resistance movement still remain in the area, attracting history buffs to explore. The surrounding area is rich in natural beauty and close to Mount Ramelau, Timor-Leste's highest peak, making it a stopover for hiking enthusiasts. A blend of traditional Timacu culture and modern townscape, Samu offers a unique look at the interior of Timor-Leste.
Located in the eastern part of Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, Dinghu District is an important ecological barrier in the Pearl River Delta region and is famous for Dinghu Mountain, the "emerald on the Tropic of Cancer". As China's first national nature reserve, Dinghu Mountain preserves the original monsoon evergreen broad-leaved forests, with an anion content of up to 120,000 per cubic centimeter, known as the "natural oxygen bar". Qingyun Temple in the area was built in the Tang Dynasty, is one of the ancestral courts of the Southern Buddhism, and Flying Water Pool, Butterfly Valley and other natural landscapes, constituting "mountains, lakes, temples, springs," an integrated ecotourism system. Dinghu is surrounded by the Xijiang River and Suijiang River, and has an excellent ecological environment, combining the flavor of the Lingnan water town with the fun of the mountains and forests, making it an ideal destination for leisure and vacation, research and recuperation, and also an important sample of the ecologically sustainable development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
