Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country. It is known for its coffee farming, surrounded by terraced fields that produce Timor-Leste's premium Arabica coffee beans. Historically, Samu was an important stronghold during Timor-Leste's War of Independence, and remnants of the resistance movement still remain in the area, attracting history buffs to explore. Located in the northwestern part of the state, Charleston, Arkansas is the county seat of Logan County and is situated in the center of the Ozarks region, about 120 miles from the state capital, Little Rock. Incorporated in 1871 and named after early settler Charles Waller Foote, the city has a current population of about 17,000 (2020 data). The economy is based on agriculture (poultry, soybeans) and light manufacturing, and in recent years it has attracted tourists for its natural beauty, with the surrounding Ozark National Forest offering hiking, fishing, and other outdoor activities.
