Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Located in Shannan City of the Tibet Autonomous Region, on the south bank of the middle reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River, about 60 kilometers away from downtown Lhasa, Zacang County is one of the important birthplaces of Tibetan culture. It is one of the important birthplaces of Tibetan culture, and has the first Buddhist monastery in Tibet, Sangye Monastery, which was built in the 8th century, integrating the architectural styles of Tibet, China and India, and is regarded as an "architectural museum", and is a national key cultural relics protection unit. The area is famous for traditional serge weaving and Tibetan incense making, with exquisite craftsmanship, carrying a thousand years of non-heritage skills. The Yarlung Zangbo River passes through the city, giving birth to the rich agriculture of the river valley and magnificent natural scenery. Zacang has both deep historical heritage and unique folk customs, which makes it an ideal place to experience the original culture of Tibet.
