Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Yangling is located in the middle of Guanzhong Plain in Shaanxi Province, China, and is the core area of the national agricultural high-tech industrial demonstration zone (Yangling Agricultural High-Tech Industrial Demonstration Zone). As an important window to China's modern agriculture, Yangling is known for its agricultural research, education and industrial innovation, and is known as "China's Agricultural Science City".
The area is home to a number of universities and research institutes, including the Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University, focusing on cutting-edge fields such as biotechnology, water-saving agriculture and food safety. The China Yangling Agricultural Hi-Tech Achievement Fair (YAHTC), held annually in Yangling, attracts global participants and promotes international agricultural cooperation.
Conveniently located, it is connected to Xi'an (about 80 kilometers) and neighboring cities via high-speed rail and highway. Attractions include the Chinese Agricultural History Museum, the Innovation Park and the Teaching Crop Garden, which blend science and technology, ecology and cultural experience, making it suitable for educational tourism and investment visits.
