Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Xing'an Township is located in the northwestern part of China's Heilongjiang Province, at the eastern foot of the Daxing'anling Mountains, within the territory of Huma County, on the right bank of the upper part of the Heilongjiang River, across the river from Russia, and is a typical border township. Here belongs to the cold temperate continental monsoon climate, with long cold winters and short cool summers, and a forest coverage of more than 80%, harboring rich wildlife resources. The meandering water systems of Heilongjiang and Huma River in the town form a unique ecological landscape along the river. With forestry and hardy agriculture as the main industries, the local area has gradually developed eco-tourism in recent years, relying on the border flavor and forest ecology, and has become a characteristic destination for experiencing the mingling of northern scenery and Russian culture.
