Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Suijiang is located in Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province, at the junction of Sichuan and Yunnan Provinces and on the south bank of the Jinsha River. Suijiang was born because of the water and flourished because of the harbor, and is an important port city on the lower reaches of the Jinsha River. It has beautiful mountains and rivers, with natural landscapes such as Jinsha River Canyon and Tongluo National Forest Park, four distinct seasons and excellent ecological environment. As a new city of immigrants, Suijiang has integrated the cultural characteristics of Sichuan and Yunnan, with a strong flavor of Miao and Yi minorities, and traditional folklore such as the "Miao Huashan Festival" is unique and charming. In recent years, relying on ecological advantages, Suijiang focuses on the development of navel oranges, bamboo and other characteristics of agriculture, and at the same time to create a riverside tourism belt, becoming a set of leisure and vacation, cultural experience in one of the emerging destinations, attracting more and more tourists to explore the quiet and vitality of the Jinsha River.
