Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Simpson Bay, located in the southwestern part of the Caribbean island of Dutch St. Maarten, is one of the region's most popular tourist destinations. As the largest natural bay in St. Maarten, it is blessed with natural conditions, calm waters and fine white sand beaches, attracting tourists from all over the world to enjoy the sun and waves. Maho Beach on the bay's shores is famous for its unique view of low-flying airplanes, while Cul de Sac is a popular destination for sailing and yachting enthusiasts, with a wide range of water sports such as snorkeling and windsurfing. In addition, Simpson Bay is surrounded by duty-free shopping centers, waterfront restaurants and nightlife venues offering everything from luxury goods to local crafts. The tropical climate is warm year-round and the dry season (December to April) is particularly good for travel, making it an essential Caribbean vacation destination.
