Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Shilou County belongs to Lvliang City, Shanxi Province, located in the western foot of the Lvliang Mountain Range, the east bank of the middle reaches of the Yellow River, is a typical hilly and gully area of the Loess Plateau, and the Yellow River crosses the river for 68 kilometers, with magnificent natural scenery along the shore. This place has a long history, there will be the Neolithic era, the ancestors flourished, the Shang Dynasty for the "Qu" land, the Qin and Han Hedong County, a deep cultural heritage. Shilou Mountain, known as "the first building in the world", has a steep shape and abundant grottoes and statues; the Red Army East March Memorial Hall witnesses the revolutionary history of Mao Zedong's Red Army East March in 1936, and is an important destination for red tourism. Shilou is also characterized by the Yellow River farming culture, producing red jujube and small grains, and the simple folk style intertwined with the unique loess flavor, showing the charm of the ancient county of the Yellow River.
