Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Located in the south-central part of Hubei Province, China, Shashi is the center of Jingzhou City, located in the hinterland of Jianghan Plain in the middle reaches of Yangtze River. As an important port city with a long history, Shashi has been known for its prosperous trade since ancient times, and was once one of the "Four Great Rice Markets" along the Yangtze River. It has convenient transportation, with the golden waterway of the Yangtze River and a number of highways and railroad junctions. Shashi's economy is dominated by industry, covering textile, machinery, chemical and food processing industries, while actively developing modern service industry and tourism. The local culture is profound, with famous monuments including Wanshou Pagoda, Zhanghua Temple, etc., and distinctive features of Jing and Chu culture. The climate of Shashi is subtropical monsoon with four distinct seasons, making it suitable for living and investment.
