Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Ruteng is the capital of Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia, located in the highland area of western Flores Island. With an altitude of about 1,200 meters above sea level, the city enjoys a cool and pleasant climate and is known for its unique natural beauty and traditional culture. Rutten is known for the traditional villages of the Mangalera people, where the unique spider-web shaped layout of villages (Lingko) and traditional ceremonies are preserved. Major attractions include the Rutten traditional market, the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption, and the nearby caves and waterfalls. The city is also an important stopover on the way to the Quemado National Park and other natural wonders of Flores.
Rutten's economy is based on agriculture, with coffee, cloves and vegetables being the main crops. The airport of Sactac is connected to other cities on the island and the road network provides access to all parts of Flores. As a remote center, Rutten has a relatively basic infrastructure but offers a unique travel experience.
