Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
Qufu, located in the southwest of Shandong Province, is the hometown of Confucius and the birthplace of Confucian culture, and is known as the "Sacred City of the East". As a national historical and cultural city, Qufu is named after "the city of Lu with a mound that curves around for seven or eight miles", and carries more than 3,000 years of civilization. Qufu is home to the world cultural heritage "Three Confucius" - the Confucius Temple, the Confucius Mansion and the Confucius Forest. The Confucius Temple enshrines Confucius, the Confucius Mansion is the mansion of the Duke of Diffraction, a descendant of Confucius, and the Confucius Forest is the world's oldest and largest family graveyard, which together constitute an important carrier of Confucian culture. Qufu is not only a spiritual landmark of Chinese civilization, but also has far-reaching influence on Confucianism with its ideology of "benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom and trust", attracting many scholars and tourists from all over the world to come here every year to pay homage to their ancestors and to study and exchange ideas, and it is a living museum for the inheritance of the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
